I am not a fan of sushi but my girl is and she loves this place. Me, I prefer tempura. Shrimp tempura, veggie tempura, salmon tempura..put some tempura on it and let the tasting begin. The food is always very tasty. The plates are beautiful to behold. I highly recommend this place.

No, the place is good is inside of Americana in Glendale and you have a good view of the pool and people, but the food no! Not fresh and we ordered the food and they served us almost 45 minutes later

Thought I liked this place after going a few times with good results. Tonight I got take out and all of the salmon items smell fishy and not fresh. They taste disgusting. A good sushi place needs to be reliable, not hit-or-miss. I’m sad that I wasted my time and money.

So they bought a successful sushi restaurant formerly known as Ichiban, thinking it already has many regulars that they will benefit from so they kept the same menu, but then brought the quality DRASTICALLY low.No that is not how it works. You want to keep Ichibans customers by keeping their menu, you better provide the food at the same quality they did.

Used to come here a lot, but ever since the change in ownership the sushi has been horrible. I'm no sushi expert, but they don't even seem to use real sushi rice!!! We all know sushi rice is short grain. But these new owners use bland LONG GRAIN rice and they don't even try to fake it. Not going to come here again. Edit: I have another pet peeve. One of the sushi chefs paused in the middle of making a roll and answered his personal phone with his bare hands. Then hangs up and goes back to making sushi with his BARE HANDS. Maybe he sanitized them when I wasn't looking, but I highly doubt it.
